Southwest puts Swimsuit Model on 737

Southwest Airlines today unveiled a Boeing 737-7H4 (N922WN) wearing a temporary decal featuring the cover model from the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The model Bar Refaeli stepped off the plane and posed for pictures with Pilots and Flight Attendants.
The plane will be released into regular service on Friday.

  1. In response to Arik, it’s their call. That was around a year and a half ago, and times have changed since then. Maybe they have new management, or maybe the fact that they’re getting paid by SI helped a little. At any rate, I think their intention is harmless and if someone doesn’t like it, they don’t have to look. But seriously, this is normal beach attire. It’s not remotely “porn” as some have been claiming.
