The left engine of US Airways flight 1549 – an Airbus A320-214, N106US – that crash-landed in the Hudson River has been recovered. Salvage crews gently set the engine on a crane platform today.

C’mon, don’t be a nitpicker …
Well, words have power and oversensationalizing this causes more damage than good.
Although “traditional” media strives for the drama with some actual information sprinkled in, I think the blogosphere can do better.
It happened. They did good. Very good. Everyone lives. Let’s learn from this. I hope that if I ever have to ditch I’ll do it as well. Can we move on now?
