i really dont think the russians can catch up to the US anymore. after the 80's we have completely dominated. dont get me wrong, the russians do have many weapons no one knows about. this is just ANOTHER ractionary project to attempt to keep up with us.

Under Bill Gates and Barack Obama, the F-22 program is ended, and the USAF will have a watered-down complement of 180 or so F-22s -- the Administration having stripped F-22 R&D and production to save money. The end result will be years of lost development work on potentially the most-advanced aircraft of all time, the F-22. Billions of dollars in F-22 development work will have been lost in order to save money going forward for this Administration. Soon the Sukhoi T-50 will catch up, and the arm's race will have begun all over again. The Russian government doesn't have the resources to compete one-for-one, but if given enough time, they will eventually catch up the the US.
